The Belief In Self

Lets touch on a touchy subject, shall we?  It’s the subject that involves belief.  And not just any belief and it’s not necessarily religion either. What we’re talking about here is self belief.  The belief that matters most.  Now wait a second.. we aren’t saying your religious views are not important- we’d dare say the opposite, it’s important to have some sort of spiritual mark in your life; something to have as “support”.  But what we are blogging about is the belief that helps you make it through each day with a fire for life, with a desire to work hard toward your goals and makes you want to be a better person. The person you always dreamed of being.

 

We all have goals.  Or.. should.  And if you don’t, please consider sitting down on a nice piece of grass one sunny day, soak up that vitamin D and listen to what your desires are. What do you want to become? What do you want to accomplish? Put those on paper; hang them up where you’ll be sure to see them.  Goals not written down are only dreams and not all dreams come true, you see.

 

What to do when you have those goals written? Think they’re impossible and you’ll never make it?  WRONG! If you think like that then exactly that will happen. You will end up wishing you had what it takes to accomplish those big and amazing goals while watching everyone BUT you come out on top.

 

Let me just tell you something… not once did I ever set a goal and think it was impossible. I wanted a supplement sponsor, got it. I wanted people to know my name, got it.  Sure, there will be days when you want to quit but it’s THOSE DAYS that define you and make the ENTIRE JOURNEY worthwhile and exhilarating. Something that you can, and will appreciate.

 

Hesitation in writing those lofty goals is also sending the signal to the universe that you’re unsure. KNOW YOU CAN and that’s the only way things will end up.  All it takes is believing in yourself. Believe. In. YOU.

 

HOMEWORK: if you don’t have any goals written down, take an hour out of your busy day to sit quietly, perhaps play some music you love that brings out your authentic, inspired self, and write down your hopes and dreams. Make goals, believe them, and FEEL as though they are happening already.

 

Believe. That’s all it takes. (And hard work, but if you believe it then you’ll do the work)
